Maureen Gross, CMP

Education and Experience

Maureen GrossMaureen Gross joined the NFCYM staff in January 2001 after eight years with the U.S. Catholic Conference of Bishops. While with the USCCB she was the principal meeting planner for the 1999 National Catholic Gathering for Jubilee Justice and was a key member of the core planning team for Encuentro 2000: Many Faces in God's House. Her first experience with meeting management and the NFCYM came right after college graduation when she accepted a position with the Programming and Events Office for World Youth Day '93 in Denver, Colorado. She has a bachelor's of arts degree from Towson State University and is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) through the Convention Industry Council (CIC).

Personal

Maureen is a native of Baltimore, Maryland, now residing in Bear, Delaware. She married Patrick Donovan of the Diocese of Wilmington in July 2004. She and Patrick are the proud parents of Molly and Emily. In the little spare time Maureen now has she enjoys reading, travel, and spending time with family and friends.
