It’s Been Wet, But We’re Getting Set in New Orleans for 2010
We have struggles related to Hurricanes Gustav and Ike. People on the coastal rim of the Diocese of Lake Charles are still living in tents. We still haven’t completely recovered from Katrina on our coastal areas, so continue to pray for us.
Would you ever think that Kentucky would be hit by a hurricane? Louisville and other areas spent 10-12 days without electrical power after the winds of Hurricane Ike blew northward! And now ice storms have hit Memphis and other parts of Tennessee. We are ready for the weather to arrive with less gusto in our region!
We are concerned about the economy, as are many of you. We know there will be fewer of us at the Membership Meeting, so we are sending a leadership delegation to bring back the news that connects us to NFCYM.
We are looking forward to preparing for you all to visit our region in 2010 for NCCYM in New Orleans. Our next two region meetings will focus on hospitality efforts for you! So prepare your budgets and time to come see us!
