Another Summer with Saint Meinrad
Benedictine-Spirited Group Commences 16th Summer of Formative Conferences

The “One Bread, One Cup” program, a work of Saint Meinrad School of Theology, is launching its 16th summer of conferences—at full capacity and with a waiting list. Fr. Anthony Vinson, OSB, director of the program for Catholic youth, young adults, and campus and youth ministers, says the conferences are focused on catechesis, liturgical formation, and spiritual formation, and resources to foster vocations and ministries within the Catholic Church.

One Bread One CupThis year, a new website is being launched, and a new video about the Saint Meinrad programs will be available. “One goal of the website is to strengthen the connections that were made during the conference—among the youth and with Saint Meinrad,” Fr. Anthony said.

Three five-day conferences will be held on the Saint Meinrad campus. About 340 youth from throughout the United States, Mexico, and Belize will participate. Additionally, twenty-three college interns will staff the program and 135 diocesan, campus, and youth ministers will guide their own formation program.

The experience is unique since participants learn liturgical skills to take back to their parishes, find opportunities to learn more about their faith, and discover how the Benedictine values of prayer, work, and community can be incorporated into daily life.
