As leaders in the field of youth ministry, we are faced with the challenging opportunity to help parish leaders provide for comprehensive youth ministry that includes a solid catechetical heart.
Parish leaders need new models, clear direction, and new insights into the ways that they can provide for intentional catechesis for junior high and high school youth. They also need ways that they can count on parish members to support the faith growth of our young people throughout their life.
The Center for Ministry Development is hosting its second annual Fashion Me A People Conference in Orlando, January 10-12, 2008. This conference is focused on lifelong learning and includes youth ministry offerings for parish and diocesan leaders.
Keynote speakers include Rev. Ray East, ValLimar Jansen, and Tom Groome. Workshops presenters include Michael Theisen, Frank Mercadante, Tom East, Alejandro Titus-Aguilera, Rey Malave’, Sean Lansing, and Ann Marie Eckert.
