Region 4 News

Taking a Deeper Look

In Region 4 the Chesapeake Bay Conference (CBC) is a biennial event that responds to the needs of our youth ministers to “kick back,” forget their troubles (at least for the weekend), and look within at their own spirituality and their own faith journeys. On January 30-February 1 Mike Carotta guided Region 4’s CBC titled, “Speak the Difficult Word.” Mike led us down the path of examining three crucial aspects of ministry: 1. vocational call, 2. sustaining the spirit, and 3. commitment. This summer Region 4 is taking a deeper look at the CBC and how we serve our youth ministers by conducting an on-line survey to determine what changing needs exist and what our youth ministers need most from the region regarding their spiritual and professional enrichment.
