Director of Campus Ministry

Job Description: The Catholic Diocese of Richmond is seeking a Director of Campus Ministry to serve the Catholic Campus Ministries at Norfolk State University; Hampton University; Virginia Union University; and Virginia State University. The Commonwealth of Virginia is home to several strong Historically Black Colleges and Universities and the Diocese of Richmond looks to expand the college ministries at each of these four institutions.
The Director of Campus Ministry is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of a campus ministry program for the students at each of the four institutions. These responsibilities include developing student leaders, pastorally responding to student needs, and overseeing student programs and activities. The four programs have different needs, and the Director will establish and lead the programs as best fits each institution. Additionally, the Coordinator oversees financial accounts and serves as the liaison with the college or university as well as the liaison with the local Catholic parishes. The position requires weekly travel to each location so as to be present for the student population.

Assistant Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry

Job Description: The Assistant Director for Youth and Young Adult Ministry works with the Office of Faith Formation team to facilitate and support the development of youth and young adult ministries in the schools and parishes throughout the Diocese of Nashville. In addition to overseeing diocesan-based retreats and events, the Assistant Director for Youth and Young Adult Ministry provides formational and collaborative opportunities for youth ministers to support them with their relational ministry to our youth and those who serve them. Through guidance, education, and accompaniment, the Assistant Director for Youth and Young Adult Ministry exemplifies and furthers the mission of the Diocese of Nashville: Living and Proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ, Welcoming All. This position reports to the Associate Director of Faith Formation.
