Director, Office of Adolescent Catechesis and Evangelizaton, Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston

The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston is seeking eligible candidates for the position of Director, Office of Adolescent Catechesis and Evangelization. This position reports directly to the Secretariat Director for Pastoral and Educational Ministry and oversees the development of comprehensive youth ministry in parishes through leadership development, training, education, programs, and retreats. The director is responsible for the management of staff, programs, resources and the stewardship of the archdiocesan office.

This position requires a master's degree in theology, pastoral ministry or related area, and a minimum of five years’ experience in a leadership position at the archdiocesan level. Superior oral and written communication skills, ability to speak to and facilitate large groups and conferences is essential.

Coordinator of Youth Ministry - (Diocese of Portland)

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland, Maine, seeks a Coordinator of Youth Ministry who will help to bring young people into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and live as his active, faithful and joy-filled disciples in the world today.  The Coordinator will be responsible for developing a long range vision and goals to meet the spiritual and formation needs of youth throughout the Diocese; supporting youth ministers, providing ongoing formation opportunities for youth ministers and organizing and implementing diocesan youth events and program.
