NFCYM Development Director

Location:  NFCYM, Washington, D.C.
Job Summary: The National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM) seeks a dynamic, practicing Catholic as its Development Director, serving as a:

  • Proactive fundraiser, relationship manager and advocate for Catholic youth ministry
  • Creator and manager of a strategic approach to fundraising
  • Manager and steward of current portfolio of relationships
  • Developer of effective tailored cultivation, solicitation and stewardship plans for donor prospects utilizing a moves management approach.

The Development Director will be raising funds enabling the NFCYM to form, equip and support pastoral leaders in their ministry to young people and their families through new and established programs and projects of the organization, in addition to providing scholarship opportunities for youth, leaders and families to participate in these programs and projects.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in education, business, administration or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the field of fund development
  • Culturally competent with a preference given to bi-lingual [English/Spanish]

Mission Site Contractor

Location: Various Locations, Catholic Mission Trips
Job Summary:  Responsibilities include leading teens as project manager on work sites. The ideal candidate will be on fire for Christ, have excellent communication, mission trip or youth ministry experience, and construction experience. Contractors teach CMT staff construction basics so they can lead teens on the work sites in proper and safe use of tools and oversee the quality and safety on the work sites. This position covers room/board, travel expenses, and a stipend of $400 per week. Some fundraising is required. Mission Summer Staff Team Leader

Location: Various Locations, Catholic Mission Trips
Job Summary:  The ideal candidates will be on fire for Christ, have excellent communication skills, have mission trip or youth ministry experience, and have supervisory experience. Team Leaders empower the program team members, ensure safety on the work sites, and oversee evening program. This position covers room and board, travel expenses, and a stipend of $400 per week. Some fundraising is required. Team Leaders are responsible for transportation at the beginning and end of the summer season, May 16-August 1. Planning: Marketing and Recruitment

Location: Various Locations, Catholic Mission Trips
Job Summary:  Responsibilities include recruiting youth ministry groups and college groups to attend summer mission trips, recruiting summer staff members, musicians, contractors, and site coordinators, training and preparing summer staff members, including fundraising, and monitoring online training of staff, marketing planning and website changes/blogs. This position is part time, will work from home and collaborate closely with the administrative staff, and be available to lead occasional mission trips as needed. Salary is negotiable. Campus Ministry Position

Location: Various Locations, Odessa and Midland, TX
Job Summary:  Full-time ministry position serving three college campuses: University of Texas at Permian Basin (Odessa, TX), Odessa College, and Midland College (Midland, TX).  Midland and Odessa are 20 minutes apart. 

Position requires B.A. in Pastoral Studies or Theology (Masters preferred), experience in ministry, pastoral and administrative skills.

The Director of Campus Ministry is responsible for the pastoral leadership of the campus faith community in an academic setting.  This includes liturgy, music, faith formation, RCIA and sacramental preparation where appropriate, social ministry and fellowship, pastoral care to students, faculty, and administrative responsibilities.

Program Coordinator

Location:  St. Philip the Apostle Province, New Rochelle, NY
Job Summary:  The Program Coordinator would serve under the Province Delegate for Youth Ministry and assist in providing supervision, evaluation and support to CYMs and their teams, while also planning and organizing province-wide programs for high school youth and youth ministers.  The successful candidate will be an active member of a Catholic parish with knowledge of or compatibilty with St John Bosco’s Salesian Spirituality and Method.  This candidate should also possess a Bachelor’s degree, studies in Theology or Pastoral Ministry, have a minimum of two years of Youth Ministry experience, and either have professional certification or a willingess to receive certification within three years of beginning employment.  The ideal candidate would also be conversational in Spanish.  To apply, please e-mail cover letter, résumé and salary expectation to Rev. Assistant of Campus Ministry and Coordinator of Community Outreach

Location:  Anna Maria College, Paxton, MA
Job Summary:  Under the supervision of the Director of Campus Ministry, the Assistant of Campus Ministry and Coordinator of Community outreach will assist the director of Campus ministry in supervising all Campus Ministry activities particularly: coordinating service projects and alternative break trips (i.e. Habitat for Humanity), coordinating community volunteer service programs including the Day of Caring with the United Way, reaching out to local non-profits organizations, faith-based organizations and humanitarian organizations to increase the number of service opportunities for our students, programming activities conducive to student development including academic, social, and spiritual dimensions (i.e. Weekend and Day Retreats, and Days of Recollection), and serving as a resource for all students.
