Diocesan Positions

Diocesan Missionary Team (DMT)

Do you want to make a difference in Catholic young people's lives? We are looking for young adults between 18-26 years of age to proclaim the "Good News" to the youth of the Diocese of Charleston as missionaries!

The Diocesan Missionary Team in its third year of service is based out of beautiful and historic downtown Charleston. The DMT's main ministry outreach is leading retreats throughout the diocese. When the DMT is not giving retreats, they will serve either at a local life teen parish, nearby Catholic High School, or work with college/young adults in the local area.

What the Catholic Diocese of Charleston Youth Office will provide each DMT member: A generous stipend, housing, meals, training, community, transportation and all the support you need to be effective ministers to our youth.

What we ask of each member of the DMT is the following: A strong Catholic faith life, the heart of a servant, the ability to live in community and the ability to serve from August 16, 2018 to June 15, 2019.
