Diocesan Youth Minister, Diocese of Fairbanks

Diocesan Youth Minister for the Diocese of Fairbanks, Alaska. This position will work primarily in the Fairbanks area, rural road system, and the Northwest coast in developing youth and young adult ministry programs for individuals from junior high school age to approximately 30 along with serving as a resource throughtout the rest of the Diocese. Qualifications include being a practicing Catholic with a bachelor's degree in theology, religious education , or a related field. A master's degree is preferred. The successful candidate will have prior experience as a youth minister and demonstrate leadership skills in collaborative settings. Ministry Coordinator – Santa Teresita Youth Conference Center, Diocese of Fresno

Santa Teresita Youth Conference Center in Three Rivers, CA, a Diocese of Fresno operated facility, is currently recruiting for a full-time Ministry Coordinator. The Ministry Coordinator will work closely with the Director to create, oversee, and implement a host of youth and young adult retreats, programs and events. The successful candidate must be a practicing Catholic in good standing and meet the minimum qualifications, including a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministry or closely related field, at least three (3) years of full-time paid work experience working in youth ministry and developing and leading youth retreats; and be fluent in Spanish and English. Camp Director (2 positions), Archdiocese of Seattle

The Catholic Youth Organization’s Camp Services is actively seeking two seasonal Camp Directors. The directors will be responsible for delivering the mission of evangelization and fostering the growth of Catholic faith through experiential and adventure education. Each position will serve as the onsite director overseeing daily operations at one of CYO’s two resident summer camps (Camp Don Bosco and Camp Hamilton) from mid June until the end of August. During the offseason the director will be required to attend monthly meetings and assist in planning and hiring. This position is seasonal with the ability to extend multiple seasons. Salary is $7,000-$10,000 DOE, plus room and board during the summer.

Day Camp Director, Archdiocese of Seattle

The Catholic Youth Organization’s Camp Services is actively seeking a Day Camp Director. The director will be responsible for delivering the mission of evangelization and fostering the growth of Catholic faith through vibrant day camp programs for youth grades 1-8. This person will serve as the onsite day camp director under the guidance of the seasonal camp director and oversee daily operations of the CYO Day Camp program. This will occur from mid June until the end of August. During the offseason the director will be required to some monthly meetings and assist in planning and hiring for the camp. Salary is $3,000-$5,000 DOE, plus room and board during the summer.

Director of Youth & Young Adult MInistry (Salt Lake City)

The Diocese of Salt Lake City is seeking a full-time Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministry. The candidate must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and substantial related experience, must be bi-lingual (English/Spanish), must be a certified catechist; and must have a strict commitment to the mission of the Church and policies of the Bishop. Supervised by the Director of Religious Education.

This position develops and implements programs designed to address the religious, social and recreational needs of youth and young adults with goals of achieving adult faith development and Catholic identity. Identifies and addresses problems facing youth. Responsible for programs which include youth leadership weekends, social justice issues, annual high and junior high school conferences, catholic summer camps, etc. Also, recruits and trains camp staff. Interfaces with parishes Athletic Recreation Associations and Scouting programs.
