Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry (Diocese of Savannah)

The Diocese of Savannah has an opening for a Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry. This position reports to the Director of Faith Formation and supervises the Coordinator of Hispanic Youth and Young Adult Ministry and the Coordinator of Campus Ministry. The Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry provides consultative services to parishes, coordinates formational and skill training for parish ministry leaders and manages diocesan events that effectively reach out to middle and high school youth and young adults for age appropriate spiritual growth. As a member of the Faith Formation team, this position will assist in training of youth ministers responsible for youth catechesis; participate in departmental planning, development, budget oversight and review. Position requirements are a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred, in a ministry-related field, a minimum of five years’ diocesan experience, strong communication and organizational skills, a high level of computer literacy including the utilization of electronic communication methods and experience in a collaborative environment. This position is only open to a practicing Catholic in good standing. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, but not required. Director, Office of Worship (Archdiocese of Baltimore)

The Archdiocese of Baltimore is in search of a Director, Office of Worship. The Director will serve as a resource to the Archbishop and to diocesan and parish leadership in ensuring that the New Evangelization is the lens through which worship is viewed. Additional responsibilities include organizing, planning, and directing archdiocesan liturgies; as well as providing formation and resources on liturgical formation. The Director also works to foster participation of the faithful in the Liturgy of the Hours. The best qualified candidate will possess: a graduate degree in theology or a related field; at least 5 years of successful experience in liturgical ministry; experience of collaboration with Catholic schools preferred, and a working knowledge of Spanish. In addition, the successful candidate should be a person of visible and demonstrated faith in the Catholic tradition, have knowledge and understanding of the Church’s liturgical documents, and have experience in and understanding of sacramental, mystagogical, and liturgical catechesis as well as RCIA. Ministry Development Coordinator (Diocese of Buffalo)

The Diocese of Buffalo is currently seeking a full-time Ministry Development Coordinator to serve as part of a team in the Department of Youth and Young Adult Ministry. This position supports parish efforts to develop and/or strengthen comprehensive ministry with youth (middle school and high school aged) and young adults (ages 18-39) and has a particular focus on resourcing, training and consulting with youth and young adult ministry leaders. Specific responsibilities include: coordinating ministry formation and networking activities for leaders; developing web site and social media outreach; supporting local, collaborative ministry programs; and assisting with development of department programs and events. Requirements include Bachelor’s degree, preferably in theology, pastoral ministry, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of three to five years of experience in parish youth ministry, young adult ministry or related pastoral ministry, such as college campus ministry or related parish ministry. Must have an extensive understanding of all stages of adolescence and thorough understanding of the vision, models and methods of comprehensive ministry with these populations. Demonstrated ability and/or understanding of how to plan and conduct such ministry within a Catholic parish is required. Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Associate Director for College Campus Ministry (Diocese of Sacramento)

The Diocese of Sacramento a seeks a passionate, accomplished, creative leader to provides leadership, direction and supervision for all programs and activities of campus ministry throughout the Diocese of Sacramento and establishes appropriate structures to enable the ministry to function effectively, accomplish strategic goals and achieve its mission. Associate Director will act as the Director of the Newman Catholic Center - Sacramento and supervise the directors at Newman Catholic Centers in Chico and Davis as well as a full time campus minister in Sacramento. Ideal candidate has a Master's Degree or higher, five years' successful leadership/managerial performance, substantial experience in young adult and campus ministry, and the ability to work with people from diverse cultural background.
