Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry

The Diocese of Savannah has an opening for a Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry. This position reports to the Director of Faith Formation and supervises the Coordinator of Hispanic Youth and Young Adult Ministry and the Coordinator of Campus Ministry. The Director provides consultative services to parishes, coordinates formational and skill training for parish ministry leaders and manages diocesan events that effectively reach out to middle and high school youth and young adults for age appropriate spiritual growth. As a member of the Faith Formation team, this position will assist in training of youth ministers responsible for youth catechesis; participate in departmental planning, development, budget oversight and review. Position requirements are a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred, in a ministry-related field, a minimum of five years diocesan experience, strong communication and organizational skills, high level of computer literacy including the utilization of electronic communication methods and experience in a collaborative environment. This position is only open to a practicing Catholic in good standing. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, but not required. Senior Director of Discipleship and Family Life

The Diocese of Toledo is searching for a Senior Director of Discipleship and Family Life, responsible for strategic leadership of her/his staff to ensure they produce excellent service to parishes by providing resources, training, and specialized expertise so that parishes can develop specific programs and events to reach their parish faith communities in the following ministries: Marriage and Family Life, Youth, Young Adult and Campus Ministry, Catholic Youth Organization (CYO), Ministry to Persons with Disabilities, and Multi-Cultural Ministries. Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry (Diocese of Juneau)

The Catholic Diocese of Juneau is accepting applications for the position of Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry. The successful candidate is expected to begin employment on or before June 30 of this year. The essential job functions are the following: 1) Organize youth and young adults catechetical functions throughout the Diocese of Juneau. 2) Provide weekly youth nights to the Cathedral and St. Paul youth and young adults. 3) Provide spiritual and catechetical guidance to youth and young adults. 4) In collaboration with the Archdiocese of Anchorage, coordinate World Youth Day pilgrimage and the Alaska Catholic Youth Conference. 5) Outreach to outlying parishes to increase youth and young adult involvement in parish and diocesan functions. Coordinator, Discipleship Formation and Digital Media (Archdiocese of Baltimore)

The Archdiocese of Baltimore is seeking to fill the position of Coordinator, Discipleship Formation and Digital Media. This position is key in helping parishes understand and communicate the Gospel message through a formation process, programs, and digital media. As Coordinator, you will be familiar with the message/methods of evangelization, provide for curriculum development, and help parish leadership understand faith formation in the digital age. You will also help to provide a web presence for the Department of Evangelization, integrating current and developing technology into the mission of evangelization. Preferred candidates will have: a love of the Gospel/possess visible and demonstrated faith in the Catholic tradition; an understanding of and experience with current developments in evangelization; a graduate degree in Religious Education, Theology, etc.; an ability to design/implement training programs; an understanding of Whole Community Catechesis; the ability to read/write/speak Spanish on a moderate level. The Diocese of Superior seeks a full time Associate Director of Catholic Formation responsible for assisting the Director of Catholic Formation in providing professional leadership and service in the areas of youth, family and adult ministry, and evangelization. A bachelor’s degree in theology, catechetics, youth ministry or related field is required; a master’s degree and/or three years of successful experience in Church leadership are preferred.
