Coordinator for Deaf Ministry (Archdiocese of Baltimore)

The Archdiocese of Baltimore, the Premier See, is seeking a Coordinator for Deaf Ministry (PT). The Coordinator will ensure that the Deaf and hard of hearing community is fully included and represented in the life and mission of the Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. The Coordinator seeks to support, encourage and facilitate the evangelization and formation of those in the Deaf and hard of hearing community, and to facilitate opportunities for Catholics in these communities to evangelize others, especially their peers and local communities. The Coordinator will work with the Director to create and implement vision and strategies for Deaf Ministry to move towards increased inclusivity and accessibility for the Deaf and hard of hearing community in each parish as well as provide and ensure interpretation services for parish and archdiocesan liturgies directly and by recruiting, training, offering professional development and coordinating Sign Language Interpreters. Director of Marriage and Family Life (Archdiocese of Baltimore)

The Archdiocese of Baltimore, the Premier See, is seeking a Director of Marriage and Family Life. The Director is responsible for developing initiatives and strategies to help parishes evangelize and catechize families, form them as domestic churches and agents of evangelization, and respond to their growing and complex pastoral needs. The Director will actively support the efforts of the Department of Evangelization to help parishes make missionary disciples. The Director will develop and oversee marriage preparation; serve as the trainer for the married couples who work with the engaged and ongoing care for marriage; liaison with ministries engaged in bereavement, domestic violence awareness, marriage enrichment and divorce recovery and for catechetical leaders in the Catechesis for Family Life in grade K-8. To be considered the best qualified, candidates should possess a Master’s Degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Education or related field; and have five years’ leadership experience in marriage and family ministry. Coordinator of Youth and Young Adult Ministry (Diocese of Portland)

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland, Maine, seeks a Coordinator of Youth and Young Adult Ministry who will help to bring young people into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and live as his active, faithful and joy-filled disciples in the world today. The Coordinator will be responsible for developing a long range vision and goals to meet the spiritual and formation needs of youth and young adults throughout the Diocese; supporting youth ministers and young adult groups, providing ongoing formation opportunities for youth ministers and organizing and implementing diocesan youth events and program. A Master’s Degree preferred, Bachelor’s Degree required and a minimum of 5-8 years of full time Youth Ministry experience. Director of the Office of Worship and Sacramental Formation (Archdiocese of Baltimore)

The Archdiocese of Baltimore is in search of a Director of the Office of Worship and Sacramental Formation. The Director will serve as a resource to the Archbishop and to diocesan and parish leadership in ensuring that the New Evangelization is the lens through which worship and sacramental formation is viewed. Additional responsibilities include organizing, planning, and directing archdiocesan liturgies; as well as providing formation and resources on liturgical formation. The Director is responsible for working with parishes to provide sacramental catechesis for Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Reconciliation, and Anointing of the Sick. He or she is responsible for resourcing parish leadership on the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. The Director also works to foster participation of the faithful in the Liturgy of the Hours. The best qualified candidate will possess: a graduate degree in theology or a related field; at least 5 years of successful experience in parish sacramental formation and liturgical ministry; experience of collaboration with Catholic schools preferred, and a working knowledge of Spanish. In addition, the successful candidate should be a person of visible and demonstrated faith in the Catholic tradition, have knowledge and understanding of the Church’s liturgical documents, and have experience in and understanding of sacramental, mystagogical, and liturgical catechesis as well as RCIA. Coordinator of Evangelization and Pastoral Care of Parishes (Diocese of Toledo)

Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry (Diocese of Savannah)

The Diocese of Savannah has an opening for a Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry. This position reports to the Director of Faith Formation and supervises the Coordinator of Hispanic Youth and Young Adult Ministry and the Coordinator of Campus Ministry. The Director provides consultative services to parishes, coordinates formational and skill training for parish ministry leaders and manages diocesan events that effectively reach out to middle and high school youth and young adults for age appropriate spiritual growth. As a member of the Faith Formation team, this position will assist in training of youth ministers responsible for youth catechesis; participate in departmental planning, development, budget oversight and review. Position requirements are a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred, in a ministry-related field, a minimum of five years diocesan experience, strong communication and organizational skills, high level of computer literacy including the utilization of electronic communication methods and experience in a collaborative environment. This position is only open to a practicing Catholic in good standing. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, but not required. This position is key in helping parishes understand and communicate the Gospel message through a formation process, programs, and digital media. The Archdiocese of Baltimore is seeking candidates for Coordinator, Hispanic Pastoral Formation and Catechesis. The Coordinator will be responsible for developing ongoing faith and ministry formation opportunities that meet the needs of Spanish-speaking members of the Archdiocese. As a part of the Evangelization team, you’ll assist in building missionary disciples, and promote ongoing formation of those in the parishes involved in religious education, youth/young adult ministry and adult formation.
