Secretary of Pastoral Concerns (Diocese of Joliet)

The Diocese of Joliet is seeking to hire a Secretary of Pastoral Concerns. The Secretary of Pastoral Concerns supervises and oversees the Pastoral Concerns Secretariat which includes the Office of Divine Worship and Catechumenate, the Office of Family Ministry, the Office of Hispanic/Ethnic Ministries and the Office of Young Adult/Youth Ministry; serves as a liaison to the Council of Catholic Women. Will also work with diocesan Bishop, Pastors and Curia. A Master’s degree in theology, pastoral ministry or related field preferred, with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in directing and managing pastoral ministry required. Good understanding of Canon Law and Catholic Doctrine. Must be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with the Church. Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus. Coordinator, Hispanic Pastoral Formation and Catechesis (Archdiocese of Baltimore)

The Archdiocese of Baltimore is seeking candidates for the role of Coordinator, Hispanic Pastoral Formation and Catechesis. Coordinator of Formation and Resources (Diocese of Arlington)

The Catholic Diocese of Arlington's Office of Youth Ministry is seeking a Coordinator of Formation and Resources to assist with all aspects of training parish Coordinators of Youth Ministry and developing resources to support them. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of youth ministry principles, the teachings of the Catholic Church, program management and project planning skills, ability to multitask, sound communication skills, both in person and in writing. A Masters degree in theology or a related field is preferred; a certification in youth ministry from an accredited program; and three to five years parish youth ministry experience, preferably in a culturally diverse environment. Diocesan Coordinator for Lifelong Faith and Ministry Formation (Diocese of Davenport)

The Diocese of Davenport seeks a dynamic, accomplished, and faith-filled Catholic to provide leadership and support to parish faith formation leaders and Catholic school faculty, and to coordinate the diocesan Ministry Formation Program. This position works collaboratively with the Office of Faith Formation team to provide a unified approach to faith formation, lay ministry formation, marriage and family life, and youth and young adult ministry throughout the diocese. The ideal candidate will be a Catholic in good standing with at least a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in theology, religious education, or related field; have a minimum of 5 years of parish/diocesan experience; and possess the ability to understand, articulate and apply the Church’s sacramental, ecclesial, moral and spiritual theology to the faithful. Director of Liturgy (Diocese of Owensboro)

The Diocese of Owensboro has a job opportunity for a full-time Director of Liturgy in the Office of Worship. This position is located at the McRaith Catholic Center in Owensboro, Kentucky. The Diocese encompasses 79 parishes and 17 schools in western Kentucky. The Director of Liturgy assists the Bishop in roles as a pastor and liturgist; makes recommendations regarding pastoral liturgical matters and implementation of liturgical policies. Director of the Office for Youth and Young Adult Ministry (Diocese of Worcester)

The Diocese of Worcester is seeking a passionate director for the Office for Youth and Young Adult Ministry called New Evangelization Worcester for Youth and Young Adults (NEW). The director is responsible for envisioning, developing, and championing a comprehensive vision for disciple-making youth ministry in collaboration with pastors and parish ministry leaders. Ministry Development Coordinator (Diocese of Buffalo)

The Diocese of Buffalo, New York is currently seeking a full-time Ministry Development Coordinator to serve as part of a team in the Department of Youth and Young Adult Ministry. This position supports parish efforts to develop and/or strengthen comprehensive ministry with youth (middle school and high school aged) and young adults (ages 18-39) and has a particular focus on resourcing, training and consulting with youth and young adult ministry leaders. Specific responsibilities include: coordinating ministry formation and networking activities for leaders; developing web site and social media outreach; supporting local, collaborative ministry programs; and assisting with development of department programs and events. Requirements include bachelor’s degree, preferably in theology, pastoral ministry, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of three to five years of experience in parish youth ministry, young adult ministry or related pastoral ministry, such as college campus ministry or related parish ministry. Must have an extensive understanding of all stages of adolescence and thorough understanding of the vision, models and methods of comprehensive ministry with these populations. Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry (Diocese of Savannah)

The Diocese of Savannah has an opening for a Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry. This position reports to the Director of Faith Formation and supervises the Coordinator of Hispanic Youth and Young Adult Ministry and the Coordinator of Campus Ministry. The Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry provides consultative services to parishes, coordinates formational and skill training for parish ministry leaders and manages diocesan events that effectively reach out to middle and high school youth and young adults for age appropriate spiritual growth. As a member of the Faith Formation team, this position will assist in training of youth ministers responsible for youth catechesis; participate in departmental planning, development, budget oversight and review. Position requirements are a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred, in a ministry-related field, a minimum of five years’ diocesan experience, strong communication and organizational skills, a high level of computer literacy including the utilization of electronic communication methods and experience in a collaborative environment. This position is only open to a practicing Catholic in good standing. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
