Director of Family Life and Pastoral Care
The Diocese of Orlando is seeking a full-time director to manage office operations for the Family Life and Pastoral Care department. This individual is responsible to direct professional staff in: marriage preparation in Spanish/English, marriage and family enrichment, separated and divorced ministry, ministry to the sick, bereavement ministry, and other initiatives. Additionally, the director will act as a resource for family and pastoral issues. For experience, computer proficiency in MS Office and Publisher as well as a master’s degree in theology or related field are required. Bilingualism in Spanish/English is a plus. This individual must also have an excellent command of the English language, experience presenting to large audiences, possess pastoral sensitivity, and work well with individuals or groups. Young Adult Service Team Member (Seattle, WA)
The Office for Youth and Young Adult Ministry of the Archdiocese of Seattle, Washington, is currently accepting applications for our 2010-2011 Young Adult Service Team. Each team member chooses a ministry focus area: archdiocesan retreat & youth ministry, outdoor ministry, CYO athletics, archdiocesan young adult ministry, parish youth and young adult ministry, or evangelization and outreach through technology. Team members will hone their skills in their focus area and various ministries. If accepted, team members commit to a year of service. This entails living in Christian community where, on a daily basis, they will work, eat, and pray together. Service term is 11 months, running from August 1, 2010 to June 30, 2010. In exchange for a year of service, Young Adult Service Team members are provided with: monthly living stipend, food and lodging, and health insurance stipend.
