Director of the Office of Marriage and Family Life (Diocese of Wilmington)

The Diocese of Wilmington is seeking a full-time professional to develop, evaluate and administer programs for the Office of Marriage and Family Life. This is a ministry role responsible for providing needed services based on demand to engaged and married couples, separated, divorced, and widowed persons. The Director will attend various functions, communicate professionally on behalf of the Diocese, and partner with Catholic Schools, Religious Education, Youth and Young Adults, and College Campus Ministries. Requirements: Practicing Catholic; Bachelor’s in Church Ministry/Theology, Counseling, Psychology or a related field; Knowledge, skills and abilities obtained through 5 years of parish experience; or equivalent; Knowledge of and experience with Catholic teachings and traditions relative to marriage and family life, including marriage, human growth and development, natural family planning and education in human sexuality. Assistant Director, Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry (Diocese of Evansville)

The Catholic Diocese of Evansville seeks a faithful Catholic to assist the growth, cultivation, and maintenance of its crucial ministry to youth and young adults. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills, knowledge of the Catholic Faith, a proven track record as a relationship builder, and have proficiency in office productivity software. Applicant must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church. Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Ministry or Religious Studies preferred; however, experience will be weighed accordingly. Diocesan Youth Minister (Diocese of Springfield)

The individual will work under the direction of the Diocesan Director, Faith Formation and will serve as a resource for parish leaders in support of their programs. The position is salaried, exempt and the pay rate is based on experience. A degree in theology, religious education or its equivalent and a minimum of five (5) years in a youth minister or catechetical leadership role is required. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) desired. Some travel inside and outside of the diocese is required as well as some evening/weekend meetings. Young Adult Ministry Coordinator (Archdiocese of Atlanta)

The Archdiocese of Atlanta seeks a young adult ministry coordinator. The desired candidate is an energetic, bilingual person to support the young adult ministry leaders in parishes, missions, and campuses throughout our multicultural and multifaceted archdiocese. Director of Young Adult and Youth Ministry (Diocese of Joliet)

The Director of Young Adult and Youth Ministry supervises and participates in the diocesan efforts for ministry to and with young adults, college students, youth and the various staff and volunteers who assist with these ministries from the parishes and schools in the Diocese of Joliet. A Master’s degree in theology, pastoral ministry or related field preferred with training and experience in the related ministry area required. Two years of diocesan or three years of parish/campus experience required. Communication and presentation skills are important. Specialized knowledge and experience in technology (website management, etc.) may strengthen consideration. Must be a practicing Catholic. Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus. Ministry Development Coordinator (Diocese of Buffalo)

The Diocese of Buffalo is currently seeking a full-time Ministry Development Coordinator to serve as part of a team in the Department of Youth and Young Adult Ministry. This position supports parish efforts to develop and/or strengthen comprehensive ministry with youth (middle school and high school aged) and young adults (ages 18-39) and has a particular focus on resourcing, training, and consulting with youth and young adult ministry leaders. Specific responsibilities include: coordinating ministry formation and networking activities for leaders; developing web site and social media outreach; supporting local, collaborative ministry programs; and assisting with development of department programs and events. Requirements include Bachelor’s degree, preferably in theology, pastoral ministry, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of three to five years of experience in parish youth ministry, young adult ministry or related pastoral ministry, such as college campus ministry or related parish ministry. Must have an extensive understanding of all stages of adolescence and thorough understanding of the vision, models and methods of comprehensive ministry with these populations. Demonstrated ability and/or understanding of how to plan and conduct such ministry within a Catholic parish is required. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
