Assistant Director of Youth Ministry Services (Archdiocese of Seattle)

The Office for Youth and Young Adult Evangelization seeks an Assistant Director of Youth Ministry Services. Along with the Director of Youth Ministry Services, this successful candidate will participate with other staff members in implementing the mission of the department. This may include planning, developing, and evaluating the department’s programs and services. Seeking a candidate experienced in providing administrative and logistical support in order to support and collaborate with the Director of Youth Ministry Services in the areas of formation gatherings, seasonal gatherings, the annual Youth Ministers Retreat, and will participate in the planning and implementation of major Archdiocesan events, including the High School Catholic Youth Convention and Junior High Rally. Candidate must be an active Catholic in good standing. Bachelor’s degree is required; experience with direct youth ministry preferred. This is a full-time position. Director of the Office of Religious Education (Diocese of Wilmington)

The Diocese of Wilmington is seeking a full-time professional to develop, implement and evaluate programs for all formal religious education in the Diocese. This is a ministry role responsible for providing leadership to local catechetical leaders, catechist development, supporting parents as partners in religious education, and organizing and directing religious education workshops on both the diocesan and regional levels. The Director will represent the Diocese at various functions, communicate professionally in writing and verbally on behalf of the Diocese, and partner with Catholic Schools, Youth and Young Adults, Marriage and Family Life and College Campus Ministries. The successful candidate will meet the following criteria: racticing Catholic; Master’s Degree in Religious Education/Theology; Knowledge, skills and abilities obtained through five years of parish and three years of diocesan level experience; or equivalent; Broad knowledge of catechetical issues; Ability to travel regionally. Program Coordinator (Huttonsville, West Virginia)

The Program Coordinator is a year round position at the Bishop Hodges Pastoral Center in Huttonsville, West Virginia. The Program Coordinator will work with the Director to plan and oversee school-year programming like Camp Magis (our 7th grade program for Catholic Schools); minister to our missionary team of 5-7 young adults, managing the day-to-day ministry and leading their community development; lead vibrant worship and prayer experiences for events throughout the diocese year-round, and support the Summer Program Director with the development and planning of summer camps and mission trips. Bishop Hodges Missionary Position (Huttonsville, West Virginia)

The Bishop Hodges Pastoral Center in Huttonsville, West Virginia, is looking for six individuals to give a year of their lives to helping young people fall in love with Jesus Christ and His Church. Responsibilities for this position include but is not limited to being camp counselors, organizing youth and young adult retreats, and basic maintenance of the facility. Diocesan Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry (Diocese of Great Falls-Billings)

The Diocese of Great Falls-Billings seeks a Director for Youth and Young Adult Ministry. Successful candidate will have demonstrated excellent skills in communication and will be responsible for developing and implementing a dynamic Youth and Young Adult Ministry for young Catholics, collaborating with parish ministry staff and pastors. A minimum of five years’ experience in Youth Ministry is preferred. Candidate must be an active Catholic in good standing. Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s preferred. Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries (Archdiocese of Baltimore)

The Archbishop of Baltimore seeks a dynamic, creative and faith-filled person to lead the Division of Youth and Young Adult Ministry in supporting parish and school leaders in their efforts to develop adolescents and young adults as missionary disciples of Jesus Christ. The Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries leads the Division staff and local youth and young adult ministers in setting a vision for ministry to the young church that guides them in moral and spiritual development and equips them for leadership and service to their church, their community, and the world. As a key leader in the Department of Evangelization, the Director will develop and implement policies and programs which contribute to the mission of the New Evangelization and the ongoing transformation of parishes into communities of missionary disciples. Preferred candidates will possess a minimum of five years' youth ministry experience, with two of those years in a diocesan role, as well as a master's degree in religious education, theology, or pastoral ministry. Ministry Development Coordinator (Diocese of Buffalo)

The Diocese of Buffalo is currently seeking a full-time Ministry Development Coordinator to serve as part of a team in the Department of Youth and Young Adult Ministry. This position supports parish efforts to develop and/or strengthen comprehensive ministry with youth (middle school and high school aged) and young adults (ages 18-39) and has a particular focus on resourcing, training, and consulting with youth and young adult ministry leaders. Specific responsibilities include: coordinating ministry formation and networking activities for leaders; developing web site and social media outreach; supporting local, collaborative ministry programs; and assisting with development of department programs and events. Requirements include Bachelor’s degree, preferably in theology, pastoral ministry, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of three to five years of experience in parish youth ministry, young adult ministry or related pastoral ministry, such as college campus ministry or related parish ministry. Must have an extensive understanding of all stages of adolescence and thorough understanding of the vision, models and methods of comprehensive ministry with these populations. Demonstrated ability and/or understanding of how to plan and conduct such ministry within a Catholic parish is required. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
