Diocesan Youth Minister (Diocese of Springfield)

The individual will work under the direction of the Diocesan Director, Faith Formation and will serve as a resource for parish leaders in support of their programs. The position is salaried, exempt and the pay rate is based on experience. A degree in theology, religious education or its equivalent and a minimum of five (5) years in a youth minister or catechetical leadership role is required. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) desired. Some travel inside and outside of the diocese is required as well as some evening/weekend meetings. Associate Director of Youth and Young Adults (Diocese of Richmond)

The Office for Evangelization is seeking an Associate Director of Youth and Young Adults for the Central/Western Vicariates. This position will advocate and coordinate youth and young adult ministry activities in the Catholic Diocese of Richmond. This position works closely with catechetical, youth ministry and young adult ministry leaders in local parishes as well as Catholic school educators. Master’s degree in Theology, Pastoral Ministry or related field is required. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in ministry, preferably in youth, or campus ministry is also required. Candidate should be a practicing Catholic in good standing; have a thorough knowledge of Church teachings and theology with the ability to relate that knowledge to youth ministry; knowledge of adolescent development; interpersonal skills in communication, self-motivated, ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in an office setting and at events. Diocesan Coordinator for Lifelong Faith and Lay Ecclesial Ministry Formation (Diocese of Davenport)

The Diocese of Davenport seeks a Coordinator of Lifelong Faith and Lay Ecclesial Ministry Formation to support and resource pastors, catechetical and Catholic school leaders, and lay ecclesial ministers. The Coordinator collaborates with the Coordinators of Youth/Young Adult Ministry and Marriage/Family within the Office of Faith Formation in fostering the Office and Diocesan mission. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, creative and faith-filled Catholic with a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in theology, religious education, or related field; have 3-5 years of parish/diocesan experience in leading catechetical and/or ministry formation; and understand and can articulate the Church’s sacramental, ecclesial, moral and spiritual theology and how they apply to the faithful. Young Adult Ministry Coordinator (Archdiocese of Atlanta)

The Archdiocese of Atlanta seeks a young adult ministry coordinator. The desired candidate is an energetic, bilingual person to support the young adult ministry leaders in parishes, missions, and campuses throughout our multicultural and multifaceted archdiocese. A staff member of the diocesan Office of Formation and Discipleship team, the young adult ministry coordinator collaborates with and serves as a consultant to the parish and campus ministry leaders to provide models for ministry, formation opportunities, support, and services to equip the leaders to witness to the Good News of Jesus Christ. Preferred candidates will be fluent in Spanish and English, have at least 6 years of leadership experience in parish and/or diocesan ministry, a bachelor’s degree in religious education, or theology, or pastoral ministry, or the equivalent. Director, Youth and Young Adult Ministry Office (Archdiocese of New Orleans)

The Archdiocese of New Orleans is seeking a Director for its CYO/Youth and Young Adult Ministry Office. This full-time position 1) supervises the ministry office staff as well as a youth retreat center/summer camp and its staff; 2) provides training, consultation, and support for parish youth and young adult ministry, and high school and college campus ministry, and 3) oversees coordination of archdiocesan-sponsored youth and young adult ministry events and programs. Director of Young Adult and Youth Ministry (Diocese of Joliet)

The Director of Young Adult and Youth Ministry supervises and participates in the diocesan efforts for ministry to and with young adults, college students, youth and the various staff and volunteers who assist with these ministries from the parishes and schools in the Diocese of Joliet. A Master’s degree in theology, pastoral ministry or related field preferred with training and experience in the related ministry area required. Two years of diocesan or three years of parish/campus experience required. Communication and presentation skills are important. Specialized knowledge and experience in technology (website management, etc.) may strengthen consideration. Must be a practicing Catholic. Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus. Bishop Hodges Missionary Position (Huttonsville, West Virginia)

The Bishop Hodges Pastoral Center in Huttonsville, West Virginia, is looking for six individuals to give a year of their lives to helping young people fall in love with Jesus Christ and His Church. Responsibilities for this position include but is not limited to being camp counselors, organizing youth and young adult retreats, and basic maintenance of the facility. Ministry Development Coordinator (Diocese of Buffalo)

The Diocese of Buffalo is currently seeking a full-time Ministry Development Coordinator to serve as part of a team in the Department of Youth and Young Adult Ministry. This position supports parish efforts to develop and/or strengthen comprehensive ministry with youth (middle school and high school aged) and young adults (ages 18-39) and has a particular focus on resourcing, training, and consulting with youth and young adult ministry leaders. Specific responsibilities include: coordinating ministry formation and networking activities for leaders; developing web site and social media outreach; supporting local, collaborative ministry programs; and assisting with development of department programs and events. Requirements include Bachelor’s degree, preferably in theology, pastoral ministry, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of three to five years of experience in parish youth ministry, young adult ministry or related pastoral ministry, such as college campus ministry or related parish ministry. Must have an extensive understanding of all stages of adolescence and thorough understanding of the vision, models and methods of comprehensive ministry with these populations. Demonstrated ability and/or understanding of how to plan and conduct such ministry within a Catholic parish is required. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
