Director of Campus Ministry (Everett, Washington)
Archbishop Thomas J. Murphy High School, a Catholic independent co-ed high school of 500 students in Everett, Washington, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Director of Campus Ministry for a start date of August 1, 2012. A candidate for the position must be a strong practicing Catholic, who is knowledgeable and passionate about their Catholic faith; have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field; have successful experience working with youth in a high school setting; have experience in organizing, planning and executing student retreats, liturgical experiences, and Christian service experiences; have experience responding to and integrating the specific Charism of a school and the continuing development of Catholic identity within a school setting; be energetic, and have strong communication, leadership, collaborative, and organizational skills. Special consideration will be given to candidates with prior Campus Ministry or Clerical experience, and Kairos or Search retreat experience. Director, Office of Faith Formation
The Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA seeks applicants for Director, Office of Faith Formation. The full-time position will serve priest-chaplains, catechetical leaders and volunteers throughout the archdiocese with an emphasis on religious education corresponding to grades one through and including eight. The applicant must have a Master's Degree in Theology, Religious Studies or equivalent from an accredited Catholic institution. The position requires excellent written, oral communication, social media, content management system and database skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. The ideal applicant must have a deep knowledge of the Catholic faith along with diocesan and/or parish ministry leadership experience. The ideal applicant will also have a working knowledge of the military. Diocesan experience (at least three years) preferred, coordinator of religious education experience (at least five years) required. The applicant must possess a high level of organizational and interpersonal skills. The position is based in Washington, DC and requires some travel. Assistant Director, Office for Marriage and Family Life
The Catholic Diocese of Wilmington is seeking a full-time Assistant Director in its Office for Marriage and Family Life located in Wilmington, Delaware. The successful candidate would be Catholic, knowledgeable and experienced in varied ministries including those to engaged and married couples and separated divorced and widowed persons. This person will be responsible for program facilitation, teaching and development, supervision and volunteer training.
Qualifications include: A Bachelor’s degree (M.A. preferred) in church ministry, pastoral counseling, theology or related field; knowledge of and experience with Catholic teachings and traditions relative to marriage and the family, including the sacramental nature of marriage, human growth and development, natural family planning, and education in human sexuality. The candidate should demonstrate successful experience in public speaking; minimum of five years of experience, at least two years in administrative responsibilities.
