Coordinator of Youth Ministry

Youth Minister

Holy Spirit Parish, Pensacola, is looking for a dynamic youth minister for middle school and high school age youth beginning August 1, 2008. Youth Minister

This person is responsible for the development and coordination of a comprehensive ministry program that maximizes the growth of youth in grades 7-12. Youth Ministry Director

St. Vincent de Paul Church, in Rogers, Arkansas, is immediately seeking candidates for a newly created position of youth ministry director. We are a large parish with over 3,000 parish families made up of many cultures. The YMD position exists to ensure that appropriate faith formational programs and catechesis are provided for youth in grades 6-12 (including sacrament preparation). This position also exists to ensure that the youth of the parish (grades 6-12) are effectively and engagingly ministered to (in partnership with parents and volunteers) at levels commensurate with their age and development levels. Requirements: Practicing Catholic with a degree in theology or pastoral ministry. Prior ministry and catechetical is required. Fluency in Spanish is a huge plus. Assistant Coordinator of Youth Formation

The assistant coordinator of youth formation (ACYF) is a full-time position at the Saint Anne Catholic Community in Houston. The ACYF will assist the coordinator of youth formation with all aspects of the entire youth formation program (high school and junior high). The ACYF will be responsible for planning monthly youth liturgies, helping plan weekly high school and junior high programs, planning and running musical element for our weekly high school and junior high programs, coordinating High School outreach program, and coordinating a music ministry team. Coordinator of Middle School Ministry and Coordinator of High School Ministry

At St. James the Apostle, in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, a vibrant school and church community in Chicago’s western suburbs, we’re excited about our growing youth ministry program! In a move to provide more individualized programming for our teens, we are looking for TWO full-time youth ministry staff—a coordinator of middle school youth ministry, and a coordinator of high school youth ministry. The people we’re looking for have a passion for Christ and the Catholic faith tradition, possess spiritual and emotional maturity, and the ability to see the big picture while paying attention to the small details. The coordinators will inherit a program with two teen Masses per month along with after-Mass programming, as well as some already-developed weekend, mission, service, and related events.
