The National Conference on Catholic Youth Ministry (NCCYM) gathers and forms adults to inspire, strengthen, and nourish those who accompany young people as they encounter and follow Jesus Christ.

2018 Theme: Unlock

Join us alongside Tampa Bay as we "Unlock" our theme for 2018, gathering with over two thousand adult leaders at the Tampa Convention Center to network, learn, and celebrate these daily themes:

  • Unlocking and Cultivating Our Personal Relationship with Jesus Christ. How are we being disciples ourselves?
  • Unlocking Missionary Discipleship - What does it look like to be a missionary disciple today? How do we help form and accompany young people into that life/lifestyle?
  • Unlocking the Minds and Hearts of the Young – How do we effectively engage and disciple the emerging young generation to be missionaries, especially when so many are walking away from faith?

What's New for 2018?

Networking, Networking, and MORE Networking

Attendees have named "networking" as one of their primary needs and one of the top reasons they choose to attend NCCYM....  AND we hear you!
In 2018 each day will feature an intentional time for leaders and volunteers to gather with other colleagues in topical network sessions to share ideas, questions and resources around specific needs, interests and/or ministry focus.

Time to Process and Apply

Our main stage sessions will allow time for attendees to connect, process, reflect and apply what they are hearing with what they are doing in their lives and ministry.

Deep Dives

Extended (2.5 hour) sessions presented by national leaders, designed to take attendees deeper into a ministry topic. The perfect choice for some of our more experienced attendees.

Time to Socialize and Celebrate

How about starting the day with a brisk workout or walk along the bay or ending it with a boat ride, outdoor concert or sing-a-long led by a national Catholic performing artist? There will be no shortage of social opportunities to help you continue to network, share and connect with your colleagues from morning till night.

So Much More

Keep returning to this site as more plans come to life and tell your friends and colleagues to plan now to join you in Tampa in December 2018!
