La población de Católicos hispanos continua creciendo en nuestro país y con él,  la necesidad de entrenamiento más efectivo y herramientas practicas para servir aquellos connectos a esta cultura única.  Esta serie presentara talleres en español para las personas que sirven dentro de la cultura Hispana.  La asistencia a estos talleres esta abierta a todos los que asistan a la conferencia sin costo adicional. Los talleres son:   The population of Hispanic Catholics continues to rise throughout our country and with it, the need for more effective training and practical tools to minister with those connected to this unique culture. This track will feature workshops in Spanish for those ministering within the Hispanic culture. Attendance of workshops in this special track is open to all conference attendees without any additional costs. The workshops are:

A:14 - Best Practices of Pastoral Juvenil

Juan Carlos Montenegro M.B.A. trabaja en Santo Domingo Savio una iglesia Salesiana, su formación empezó en la mitad de la Selva Amazónica cuando fue misionero a los 18 años.   Juan Carlos Montenegro works at St. Dominic Savio, a Salesian parish in Bellflower, CA.
Existen varias maneras de llevar una Pastoral Juvenil, pero profesionalmente sabemos ¿cuales son los jóvenes con los que trabajamos, sus necesidades y medio ambiente?  Hoy en día estamos entrando a la era de la telecomunicación en donde los jóvenes tienen otra manera de aprender y de pensar, ¿como pastoral juvenil estamos preparados para asumir este nuevo reto? En este seminario hablaremos de cómo podemos llevar una pastoral juvenil de una forma profesional aplicando técnicas de administración de empresas en nuestro día a día.   There are many ways to work with youth ministry, but professionally do we know who are the young people that we work with? Do we know their needs and their environment? Now days we are entering the era of the media where young people have a different way of thinking and learning. As youth ministers are we ready to face this new challenge? In this workshop we will learn the professional way to work with the youth ministry applying business administration techniques that will help us in our day to day activities.

La característica más distinta de los Hispanos es su Espiritualidad. Cómo es? Cómo se describe, cómo se entiende? Cuáles son sus rasgos principales? Cómo está cambiando hoy en día y cómo afectará la Iglesia norteamericana por nacer donde los Hispanos serán la mayoría? Qué papel juega la juventud hispana en este drama?   The real distinctiveness of Latinos is found in their spirituality. How can one describe it, what are its main features, how is it changing, and how will it affect the Church in America?

Como líder de Pastoral Juvenil es importante conocer la estructura del ministerio de “Youth Ministry” en la Iglesia para desarrollar mejores oportunidades y herramientas de colaboración con la Pastoral Juvenil y abogar por sus necesidadesy así proveyendo mejores recursos a los jóvenes latinos.   As a leader of Pastoral Juvenil it is important to know the structure of youth ministry in the church for the development of better opportunities and tools of collaboration with Pastoral Juvenil that would advocate for it's needs and provide better resources for Latino youth.
