Youth Minister

Job Summary: The Youth Minister is responsible for the development, organization and administration of programs for youth to fulfill the catechetical mission of the parish in cooperation with the pastor, parish staff and Diocesan Department of Youth Ministry Formation. Director of Youth Ministry and High School Religious Education (Full-time w/benefits package)

Location: St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Madison, MS
Job Summary: Plans and oversees all facets of the youth ministry program/events/activities (7-12th grade – Lifeteen/Edge programs) as well as the high school religious education program for 9-12th grade youth including preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation (11th grade – every year). Candidate should be able to work Wednesday and Sunday evenings. Candidate should also be able to work well in shared, collaborative ministry with the Pastor, Associate Pastor, Director of Religious Education, Parish Staff, and the St. Francis Education Committee.

Coordinator of Youth Ministry

Location: St. Joseph Parish, Avon Lake, OH
Job Summary: The Youth Minister (YM) is a full-time (40 hour), salaried member of the catechetical team of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in beautiful Avon Lake, Ohio. The YM will work with the DRE in planning and scheduling programs for the Junior and Senior High School Youth of the Parish. The YM is accountable to the DRE and to the Pastor.

The YM will coordinate liturgical and retreat experiences for students in Junior and Senior High School, encourage community-building activities for students, incorporate young people fully into all aspects of church life, and engage them in ministry and leadership in our faith community. The YM must also be open to the development of cluster and/or regional collaboration.

Director of Youth Ministry

Location: St. Matthew Parish, Franklin, TN
Job Summary: St. Matthew is a parish of 1200+ families located in the diocese of Nashville. The goals for this position are to challenge youth to be active in the Sacred Liturgy, be an effective evangelist to the youth, and increase the number of youth actively participating in the youth ministry. This position is responsible for planning, budgeting, recruiting volunteers, responding to the needs of the youth and parents, supervising youth trips, and attending Parish Council meetings. Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in a related field), a Catechist certification (or willingness to pursue), thorough knowledge of the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, and a willingness to share their knowledge and passion.

Youth Ministry Coordinator

Location: St. Michael Catholic Church, Fernandina Beach, FL
Job Summary: St. Michael Catholic Church located in Fernandina Beach, Florida is seeking a full-time Youth Ministry Coordinator. This person will provide the vision and hands-on approach to the outreach of the parish's middle schoolers and high schoolers as well as oversee the Confirmation program and catechesis. The Youth Minister Coordinator builds outstanding, trusting relationships with our parish youth and parents to achieve the highest engagement levels possible into the Youth Ministry programs.  

The ideal candidate is highly energetic and will possess an intimate knowledge of the Catholic faith, a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in theology or related field, two years of experience and will be fluent in social media platforms and technology that today’s youth embrace.

Coordinator for Youth Ministry

Job Summary: The Pastor is the visible principle and foundation of unity in the parish of Saint William which the Bishop has entrusted to him.  He makes Christ’s mission present and enduring in the parish.  In order to fulfill his mission, the Pastor employs suitable, chosen collaborators (clerics, religious, or lay people).  He shares with them his mission and entrusts various responsibilities to them.

Positions employed at Saint William help to extend the ministry of the Pastor in particular ways as outlined in the job description.  Therefore, the employee in this position is closely connected to and assists the Pastor in the performance of his ministry and thereby engages in ministry for the Church.

This full time interim position for Spanish-language youth ministry, includes middle school and high school ministry, Confirmation and RCIA-Adapted for Children. Responsibilities include leading our youth in grades 6-12 into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through evangelization, catechesis, service and worship.

Candidates must possess excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, coupled with strong organizational habits that will allow them to be successful in collaborating and in achieving the program's needs from planning and recruitment to budgeting.
