Coordinator of Youth Ministry

Location: St. Vincent de Paul Catholic ChurchBrooklyn Park, MN
Job Summary: The Youth Minister (YM) is a full-time (40 hour), salaried member of the catechetical team of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in beautiful Avon Lake, Ohio. The YM will work with the DRE in planning and scheduling programs for the Junior and Senior High School Youth of the Parish. The YM is accountable to the DRE and to the Pastor.

The YM will coordinate liturgical and retreat experiences for students in Junior and Senior High School, encourage community-building activities for students, incorporate young people fully into all aspects of church life, and engage them in ministry and leadership in our faith community. The YM must also be open to the development of cluster and/or regional collaboration.

Coordinator of Youth Ministryfor teens grades 6-12 and Young Adults

Job Summary: St. Vincent de Paul is seeking a full-time Coordinator of Youth Ministry for teens in grades six through twelve and young adults.  Working with a team of adult volunteers, this position will seek to create a program which is apostolic in vision and missionary in zeal that introduces youth to Christ.  This position works closely with the Junior/Senior High Faith Formation Coordinator in implementing a strong and impactful Junior/Senior High Faith Formation program.  


Job Qualifications
A four year degree in Theology or related field.  3-5 years of experience in ministering to youth.  Demonstrated experience with developing and delivering teen appropriate talks and programs.  Experience in producing engaging, compelling & relevant content for social media and websites.  Demonstrated experience recruiting, training and motivating volunteers.  Guitar and/or other musical skills.

Associate Director of Student & Young Adult Ministries

Location: St. Charles, Hartland, WI
Job Summary: St. Charles is a very active and growing Catholic Community of 2,300 families located in Hartland, WI; approximately 25 minutes outside of Milwaukee. We are a parish that has discipleship and evangelization at the heart of all of our ministries. As the fifth largest and fifth youngest parish in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee we are looking for a dynamic and personable individual to join our formation team.
 
The Associate Director of Student & Young Adult Ministries (Associate Director) works with our Director of Student & Young Adult Ministries in leading teens and young adults to meet, know, love, and serve Christ.  The Associate Director will be responsible for maintaining a comprehensive and effective ministry for middle school students (7th and 8th grade) through the EDGE program. This includes planning and facilitating EDGE nights and summer camp with a core team.  The Associate Director will also oversee area young adult (20-38) ministries, including Brewing the Faith, Theology on Tap along with social and service events. The Associate Director also assists the Director of Student & Young Adult Ministries in recruiting, training and developing the core team of volunteers.

In addition to these primary duties, the Associate Director will utilize the interaction with parents and families as an opportunity for evangelization and deepening discipleship, supporting and encouraging the parents’ role as the primary catechist of their child(ren).  This position requires a balanced focus on fostering both the catechetical and the spiritual growth of the students and families in the program along with the core team.  The Associate Director serves on a formation team with the Director of Student and Young Adult Ministries, the Director of Evangelization, and the Director of Children's Formation.

Director of Youth Ministry

Location: St. Matthew Parish, Franklin, TN
Job Summary: St. Matthew is a parish of 1200+ families located in the diocese of Nashville. The goals for this position are to challenge youth to be active in the Sacred Liturgy, be an effective evangelist to the youth, and increase the number of youth actively participating in the youth ministry. This position is responsible for planning, budgeting, recruiting volunteers, responding to the needs of the youth and parents, supervising youth trips, and attending Parish Council meetings. Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in a related field), a Catechist certification (or willingness to pursue), thorough knowledge of the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, and a willingness to share their knowledge and passion.

Youth Ministry Coordinator

This person will provide the vision and hands-on approach to the outreach of the parish's middle schoolers and high schoolers as well as oversee the Confirmation program and catechesis. Coordinator for Youth Ministry

Job Summary: The Pastor is the visible principle and foundation of unity in the parish of Saint William which the Bishop has entrusted to him.  He makes Christ’s mission present and enduring in the parish.  In order to fulfill his mission, the Pastor employs suitable, chosen collaborators (clerics, religious, or lay people).  He shares with them his mission and entrusts various responsibilities to them.

Positions employed at Saint William help to extend the ministry of the Pastor in particular ways as outlined in the job description.  Therefore, the employee in this position is closely connected to and assists the Pastor in the performance of his ministry and thereby engages in ministry for the Church.

This full time interim position for Spanish-language youth ministry, includes middle school and high school ministry, Confirmation and RCIA-Adapted for Children. Responsibilities include leading our youth in grades 6-12 into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through evangelization, catechesis, service and worship.

Candidates must possess excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, coupled with strong organizational habits that will allow them to be successful in collaborating and in achieving the program's needs from planning and recruitment to budgeting.
