Director of Catechetical Ministry

Location: St. Ann Catholic Church, Haines City, FL

Job Summary: St. Ann Catholic Church in Haines City, FL is actively seeking a Director of Catechetical Ministry who is responsible for the overall direction of the parish’s total catechetical ministry. Envisions, plans, develops, and then organizes and evaluates all facets of the parish’s formation programming (adult, young adult, adolescent/youth, children, infants, and family as well as sacramental preparation for initiation – including the catechumenate – and proximate preparation for marriage). Director of Youth & Campus Ministries

Location: Saint Ann Church & Saint Maria Goretti High School (Archdiocese of Baltimore)

Job Summary: Saint Ann Catholic Church/Saint Maria Goretti High School in Hagerstown, Maryland is seeking a dynamic disciple of Christ to serve in a full-time position as Director of Youth & Campus Ministries for the youth (Grades 6 – 12).

The Director will develop a ministry of catechetical, spiritual, social and service opportunities that supports middle and high school students as missionary disciples of Christ. The Director will foster the participation of young people in the various activities of the parish and high school. Full Time Youth Ministry Coordinator

Location: St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, McComb, MS

Job Summary: St. Alphonsus Catholic Church ( located in McComb, Mississippi - a hospitable parish in the Diocese of Jackson with about 300 families and 75 teens in the youth program - is seeking a full-time Youth Ministry Coordinator.  This position is responsible for: overseeing and planning religious education for grades 7-12 using the Life Teen and Edge model; working with the Confirmation team by handling administrative work and attending the Confirmation retreat; recruiting, training, and motivating volunteers; maintaining communications with parents and teens via social media; providing some form of local college ministry by being present on campus and offering events throughout the year; organizing fundraisers, retreats, and other youth events; working with DRE to complete all Safe Environment requirements and trainings for the Diocese of Jackson and attending Diocesan events and deanery meetings throughout the year.

The ideal candidate is highly energetic, creative, and pastoral. He/She must possess an intimate knowledge of the Catholic faith and be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with the Church’s moral teachings. Coordinator of Youth Ministry

Location: Holy Family, Ft. Madison, IA

Job Summary: Holy Family parish in Ft. Madison, IA, seeks a dynamic and faith-filled individual to develop and coordinate a parish-based ministry for middle school and high school youth in both Catholic and public schools. Full Time Coordinator of Young Adult and Youth Ministry

Job Summary: Full-time minister to oversee young adult, high school and junior high ministry programs and program for the Sacrament of Confirmation in a multicultural parish setting. Must be a practicing, faith-filled Catholic with a desire to evangelize youth and make disciples. Director of Faith Formation

Job Summary: Position Description: Sacred Heart Parish seeks a Director of Faith Formation who is responsible for a comprehensive faith formation program for all ages (children, youth, and adults). The Director will help to develop and direct high-quality programming that meets the needs of the parishioners, educates them about the Catholic faith, aligns with and promotes the charism of the Congregation of Holy Cross, and supports and deepens parishioners’ spiritual development. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: evaluating parish needs and resources; creating curricula and overseeing; identifying strengths of lay parishioners and collaborating with them to build effective and rich programming; scheduling and organizing classes and programs; and evaluating the effectiveness of programs. Job Summary: Seeking an individual to work full time with youth for a combined ministry position. Lead Catechist/Youth Minister/Confirmation Coordinator/

Coordinator, Youth Ministry

Job Summary: Saint Pius X Catholic Church in Urbandale, Iowa, a community of 1800 households, a suburb of Des Moines, seeks a full time Coordinator of Youth Ministry.  The successful candidate will be an active Catholic in good standing, possess a bachelor degree in religious studies, theology, youth ministry or a related field, be a well-organized, self-starting individual with good communication skills, able to use a variety of media. Job Summary: The YYAM is responsible for the formation and assimilation of students to the parish life. Prepare and coordinate sacramental process for middle and high school students. Liturgy Coordinator

Job Summary: The Liturgy Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and evaluating all liturgical and devotional celebrations in close cooperation with the Clergy. Create, review and maintain the schedule of clergy and liturgical ministers. Recruit and train volunteers, and plan monthly meeting. Ensure that the liturgical worship space is adequately prepare. Manage the liturgical ministries schedules through Ministry Scheduler Pro. Plan, coordinate and oversee funerals and bereavement reception. Spend every workday 30 minutes in the Eucharistic Adoration chapel. Bachelor Degree from an accredited American university or equivalent in a foreign country. One year of related work experience.   Years beyond the requirement may be substituted for the educational requirement at a ratio of 1 year of experience equals 1 year of education. Family Minister

Location: St. Helen Catholic Church, Georgetown, TX

Job Summary: The Family Minister is responsible for ministry to the children, parents, and couples of the parish. Research, plan, and propose curriculum for Children Ministry. Recruit, train, and assist volunteers. Keep families, volunteers, and staff members informed. Make rooms available to students and volunteers. Assist Catechists with research, acquiring substitute Catechists, and providing materials for classroom projects. Plan, coordinate, and/or present talks and studies for parents of children attending faith formation. Assist in marriage preparation and enrichment. Spend 30 minutes in the Eucharistic Adoration chapel every workday.
