Annual NFCYM Membership Meeting
Who/What
Diocesan and collaborating members of the NFCYM gather to discuss national priorities within the field of Catholic youth ministry and to forward the work of the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry during the annual gathering.

Highlights from the 2007 Meeting in Colorado Springs, Colorado
25th Anniversary
This year marks the 25th Anniversary of the NFCYM (1982-2007) and that theme was celebrated throughout the meeting with personal reflections from members during the general sessions (see below), a 25th Anniversary commemorative program, an 'In Memoriam' Presentation 
(5.37 MB), and finally a gala party complete with champagne toast and a chocolate fountain! There were more than 180 diocesan and collaborating members in attendance.

In-services
In-service presentations were given by Ron Landfair on Cultural Mythology (220 KB) and by Tom East and Susan Dorfmeister on the Diocesan Leadership Initiative. Indepth discussions were undertaken regarding a structural analysis of the NFCYM.

New collaborating members were affirmed by the membership:

inally, over 45 members took part—for the first time ever at a membership meeting—in volunteering to prepare food at a local soup kitchen on each of three mornings.
