Discovering Program: A Junior High Parish Religion Program

The EDGE
LIFE TEEN’s Catholic middle school youth ministry for young adolescents in grades 6-8. The EDGE is designed to meet the educational, spiritual, emotional, and social needs of young adolescents. The program includes weekly EDGE Nights, social and recreational activities, a three-day retreat, service projects, and parent components.

FaithWays
Center for Ministry Development
A comprehensive Catholic faith formation curriculum for 6-8 graders. Each of the three FaithWays Programs, one for each year, integrates teaching programs, prayer and liturgical services, sacrament workshops, justice and service learning sessions and action projects, community life activities, and family programs and resources. Each of the three programs is organized in a six season format using the Church Year: Fall, Advent, Winter, Lent, Spring, and Summer. There are over forty hours of structured learning each year.
